On 6 May 2020, the Chamber of Auditors of the Republic of Azerbaijan held the next webinar in the series on the topic “Implementation of the Auditor’s Personal Account System.”

The challenges of the new era require the improvement of audit organization, regulation and digitalization in line with modern requirements and taking into account international experience, the introduction of innovations and new technologies in auditing, ensuring that audits conducted comply with the requirements of the International Standards on Auditing, the Code of Professional Ethics for Auditors and other regulatory and legal documents, and, most importantly, improving the quality of audit services and enhancing the image of the profession.

In order to implement effective measures in this direction, the Chamber of Auditors established the “Auditor’s Personal Account System” last year. In accordance with the approved action plan under item 1.8, “Implementation of the Auditor’s Personal Account System”, of the Chamber of Auditors’ 2020 Work Plan, the Chamber of Auditors launched a series of webinars on 6 May 2020. Goshgar Ahmadov, Head of the Chamber’s Department of Digital Transformation and Innovation Implementation and author of the project, delivered a comprehensive presentation on the topic, provided information on the Guidelines for the implementation of the “Personal Account” system, which had been prepared in advance and sent to the members of the Chamber for familiarization, and also explained the technical procedures for using the account (“Login”, “Registration”, “Password Recovery”, “Using the Account”) through a presentation.

During the webinar, which was held in a businesslike environment, participants asked questions on the topic, which were answered, and professional discussions were held regarding improvements to the use of the personal account and their implementation.
